Do you want to live forever?

One thing that blew me away was the fact that nowhere in the Bible does it say that humans are immortal! Quite the contrary. Even Adam and Eve, before they rebelled against God in the Garden of Eden, had to eat of the Tree of Life in order to stay alive. When they were forced out of the Garden, and could no longer eat the tree’s fruit, they died. Admittedly, it took them about 900 years to do so. Mankind has certainly declined since then.
Bottom line; there is no Hell! At least, not one of eternal suffering. Hell is pretty much right here and now.
Learning that opened the way for me to consider the possibility of making God part of my life. I continued to read and listen. I even did some reading in the Bible, something that had totally bored me when I had tried it many years earlier.
